Maison Mihara Yasuhiro's OG Sole Receives New Mold
Bolstered with squiggly melting rubber bottoms.

Maison Mihara Yasuhiro has unveiled brand new iterations of its OG Sole. The new designs feature both low and high-top molds with the label’s signature squiggly rubber sole covering the toecap. This release is a follow-up to a collaboration with STUDIO SEVEN seen just two days ago.
Four distinct colorways are included in the release: two monochromatic pairs and two asymmetrically color-blocked designs. “MMY” branding is stamped at the top of the shoe, resting next to frayed collars. Thick white laces are looped through silver-toned eyelets, matching the voluminous build of the sneakers, while other details like contrasting white top-stitching round off the uppers’ design. All of these features rest over a thick melted rubber midsole that nods to the structure of Converse’s classic Jack Purcell silhouette.
Maison Mihara Yasuhiro’s new OG Sole sneakers are currently available for pre-order at Chemical Conbination’s website, ranging from $308 – $328 USD.
