Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Bolsters Fleece Jacket With Massive Zipper
A playful spin on a warm winter staple.
Maison Mihara Yasuhiro has delivered a new piece from its line of Fall/Winter 2020 outerwear. Featured is a thick fleece jacket bolstered by an oversized zipper opening — first seen on the label’s FW20 runway show back in January.
The jacket has been made with a slightly elongated cut and a semi-boxy fit, accentuated by supple fleece that adds some volume to the garment. Light green nylon fabrics appear along the collars and upper left chest pocket, while subtle ripstop accents colored in the same tone have been placed at the hem and waist pockets. As a final note, “Maison MIHARAYASUHIRO” is stamped at the back of the collars, complemented by a massive central zipper that rounds off the piece’s quirky design.
Maison Mihara Yasuhiro’s Black Boa Zip-Up jacket is currently available on SSENSE’s website for $740 USD.
