John Elliott and Suicoke Link Up For Summer Release
Two sandals coming in four colorways.
John Elliott and Suicoke have linked up for a sandal collaboration that’s seen the American designer rework two of the Japanese brand’s most popular styles.
Known for injecting athletic designs with a modern edge, John Elliott has taken the ZIP Sandal and TONO Thong and re-imagined them into a more sporty aesthetic.
The ZIP Sandal has been designed in two color-ways – Black and Navy – and features a transparent PVC upper, 15 mm nylon tape, and the Suicoke “soft cushioning” performance footbed combined with a “shark” sole.
The TONO Thong – that was initially developed to provide grip on wet surfaces – comes equipped with an exclusive Vibram outsole. The sole has been designed with a non-marking rubber compound that offers traction on any surface. Unique to this model, the treads are designed to be combined into one – an added benefit for packing when on the move.
Two colorways are available in the TONO style, white with reflective tape, and beige with nylon tape.
The John Elliott X Suicoke TONO Thong and ZIP Sandal will be available from July 21, through the John Elliott and Suicoke web stores.
