adidas has given its classic Stan Smith and Superstar silhouettes eco-friendly makeovers. Both sneakers are part of adidas’ “The Clean Classics” collection, a range of footwear that has been reworked with sustainable materials.

Embodying minimal designs, the silhouettes sport white uppers complemented by a leather tongue tag marked with a light green “The Clean Classic” emblem — 70% of the uppers are made using recycled materials. The Stan Smith sees perforated side stripes and a smooth toebox, while the Superstar comes with jagged leather Three Stripes branding on the body alongside the silhouette’s signature shell-toe. Other details like the lightly speckled midsoles and cork OrthoLite sockliners round up the environmentally-friendly designs.

adidas’ Stan Smith and Superstars from “The Clean Classics” collection are currently available on atmos’ website for $123 USD per pair.
