ASICS has unveiled a brand new silhouette from its expansive footwear lineup — the GEL-Quantum 360 6. After recently dropping a “Huddle Yellow” iteration of the GEL-Kinsei OG, the Japanese label has opted for a sleeker, stealthier colorway, this time around over an entirely new sneaker mold. The shoe is a lighter, slimmer and more breathable successor to the previous model GEL-Quantum 360 5.
Starting at the top of the shoe is a tonal “ASICS” logo placed over a ripstop tongue tag. Much of the shoe’s uppers are lined with breathable mesh fabrics, complemented by finely textured leather panels that appear along the eyelets, rear quarter, sidestripes, backstay and toecap. For added contrast, subtle shades of dark purple are thrown into the mix, accentuating the shoe’s slimly tapered construction. All of these details rest atop a glossy black GEL midsole, accompanied by performance-enhancing Trusstic System technology.
ASICS’ GEL-Quantum 360 6 “Black” is currently available on SSENSE’s website for $150 USD.
