Nike's Air Max 95 Arrives in Crisp Clean Monochrome
Minimal shading to bring out textural contrast.
Nike has given its classic Air Max 95 a crisp clean monochromatic update. The American footwear giant has unveiled two sharp colorways of the silhouette, following a ’90s-centric green-tinted “Era” that released last month.
The two black and white renditions of the model are inversely-shaded counterparts to each other. One colorway sports a white “airmax” branded tongue complemented by contrasting round laces, while the other pair comes with a black tongue with white laces. The upper panels of the silhouette boast intricately woven mesh layers, followed by a layer of suede and smooth full-grain leather below. Other details like the bold Swoosh logo at the rear quarter and “Nike” branding at the heel counter round up the design of the silhouette’s uppers. All of these features rest over a slightly articulated midsole that’s been engineered with essential Air cushioning technology for optimal comfort and support.
Both monochromatic versions of the Nike Air Max 95 are currently available on atmos’ website for $113 USD.
