Shy Glizzy Taps Lil Uzi Vert for Boisterous Banger "Right or Wrong"
The D.C. and Philly rappers reunite.
Shy Glizzy has followed his 2019 album Covered N Blood with a brand new single titled “Right or Wrong.” Reuniting since the last collaboration, Glizzy called in Lil Uzi Vert once again for a boisterous trap-tinged banger.
Measuring at approximately three minutes, the song comes with a lustrous midtempo groove backed by heavy bass drums, short bursts of 16th-note hi-hats and crisp snares. The beat was produced by TM88, accentuating Shy Glizzy and Lil Uzi Vert’s unique vocal cadences. The rappers come through with a rich flurry of flows and lines, like “Take that girl to MIA, she never comin’ home / Her boyfriend keep actin’ tough, that boy be bluffin’ on the phone” and “She come from Toronto, yeah I take her to my jungle / That ‘42 get to you girl, let’s get ride home,” rounding up the charged up track with a dynamically rich rhythmic arrangement.
