The Los Vans Slip-On and Old Skool Honors the Traditional Lotería Card Game
Highlighting both customary and reimagined characters from the card game.
Vans pays homage to the traditional Mexican card game Lotería with a duo of Slip-On and Old Skools.
Crafted with the orthodox canvas fabric, the two silhouettes arrive in pastel hues of blue, pink and yellow, serving as the background of the different cards tiled across the upper. The iterations feature both customary and reimagined characters, ranging from La Dama, La Rosa and El Alacran to El Checkerboard, Los Munchies and Los Waffles. While the motif completely covers the Slip-On model, the Old Skool is contrasted by the black toe box, eyelets, laces, tongue and heel, along with a subtle white jazz stripe. Both shoes feature the branded heel plate in red, finally resting on a white midsole with black piping and a brown waffle outsole.
The Los Vans Slip-On and Old Skool are both available now on the Vans webstore for $60 USD and $65 USD respectively.
