Tyshawn Jones' Sponsors Link Up on the Fucking Awesome x adidas Tyshawn
FA flair meets adidas Skateboarding style on these bright yellow kicks.
As one of the skateboarding world’s biggest starts, Tyshawn Jones is supported by an impressive Rolodex of sponsors, two of which have joined forces on the Fucking Awesome x adidas Tyshawn. FA provides Jones with clothing and unique decks while adidas Skateboarding crafts his signature footwear, so here both brands’ ethos — and Jones’s inimitable flair — is on full display.
What makes Jones’ adidas footwear different from many other skate shoes is its basketball-inspired 5/8 cut. Here, this upper is dressed in a mustard yellow nubuck. Midfoot Three Stripe graphics are constructed of translucent plastic, and Fucking Awesome’s core jagged logo wraps around the rear of both shoes, dressed in black for a signature embellishment.
Throats, laces and collar trim add more black, and a gold adidas Trefoil logo is stamped on the tongue. Down below, gum midsoles with black foxing round off the look.
It’s been an undeniably big month for Jones, who recently revealed he’d be joining the roster of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater reboot, and his victory lap will continue when the Fucking Awesome x adidas Tyshawn releases at retailers like adidas UK on June 26. The MSRP is set at £75 GBP (approximately $93 USD) and a stateside release will likely follow shortly thereafter.
