Young M.A Drops Seven New Cuts on 'Red Flu' EP
Her first batch of new music since 2019’s ‘Herstory in the Making.’
Young M.A‘s newest EP Red Flu is here. Featuring seven new tracks produced by Mike Zombie, Bangers and Benjamin Lasnier, the project is her first batch of new music since her 2019 debut LP Herstory in the Making.
If Herstory shared the Brooklyn rapper and entrepreneur’s vulnerable side, Red Flu sees a more aggressive version of M.A. “Quarantine hurt me coming from the state of mind of being on tour,” she said in a statement. “Moving non stop to staying still. It was a struggle for the first couple weeks. Birthday washed out. I was getting frustrated….like being on punishment when you’re a kid. I had to make a positive out of negative. We can’t be outside; let’s make music.”
