Ubisoft Releases 'Assassin's Creed'-Based Educational Game for Free
Explore Ptolemaic Egypt and Classical Greece with Ubisoft’s ‘Discovery Tour’ series.
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to put a halt on educational tours, Ubisoft is taking both students and Assassin’s Creed fans on a lengthy journey through Ancient Egypt and Greece with the Discovery Tour series.
The Discovery Tour series allows users to explore historical places and artifacts based on the virtual worlds of Assassin’s Creed: Origin and Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. Ancient Egypt will take players on 75 guided tours, curated by historians and Egyptologists, that puts emphasis on different details of this civilization. Meanwhile, Ancient Greece will have historical and fictional characters from Odyssey like Leonidas, Herodotos and Markos leading the tour as they run through philosophy, ancient myths and wars. Users will be able to roam around Ptolemaic Egypt and Classical Greece while they continue to learn.
Discovery Tours: Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece are free to download for PC until May 21 on Ubisoft’s website.
