NYC-based creative studio ILYSM is teaming up with renowned artists to give grants to artists impacted by COVID-19 shutdowns as part of a relief initiative called #ILYSM4ARTISTS. The studio recently enlisted photographer Ryan McGinley‘s help to select one winner among numerous online submissions by artists of all disciplines worldwide. One-time payments of $500 USD will be given to artists on a weekly basis. The collective will continue to partner with artists to support other artists in need, including Laurie Simmons, Jerome LaMaar and many more.

“We’ve been overwhelmed at the organic pick-up and support of collaborators, many of whom are art world idols we revere. It’s been incredible to see such legends partner with us at ILYSM in efforts to lift our community,” said ILYSM in a statement. Ryan McGinley added, “Grants are an amazing way to support artists during this pandemic.”

Check out select submissions in the slideshow above and then visit ILYSM’s website to learn more about the program.

Elsewhere, HP joined forces with Shepard Fairey, Noma Bar, and more for its “Windows of Hope” campaign.
