'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' to Launch Spinoff Manga About Kyojuro Rengoku
The Flame Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is developing a spinoff manga centered around a significant yet largely mysterious character from the series, Kyojuro Rengoku. Story creator Koyoharu Gotouge will not be writing the offshoot; instead, the story will be lead by Hirano Ryouji, who notably spearheaded Giyu Tomioka: Gaiden, a short two-chapter tale about the Water Pillar.
While the upcoming project will focus on the story of the Flame Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps and is still in its early stages of development, according to the original manga, Kyojuro has the potential to be one of the strongest Demon Slayers, who is close to attaining “supreme territory”-level battle spirit — an ability that only some of the strongest Slayers have access to.
Exact release dates for the upcoming manga have yet to be revealed, but the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba spinoff is expected to land later this year. The original story is currently in its final chapter, but with this fans can look forward to some sort of continuation of the narrative.
