A Kind of Guise Heads to Ghana for SS20 Lookbook
Inspired by the Kumasi market.
Inspired by the heaving mass of color and movement that is the Kusami market, German brand A Kind of Guise has headed to Ghana for its Spring/Summer 2020 collection entitled “Kejetia Kumasi.”
Renowned for its 11,000 stalls, mountains of fresh produce and kilometres of bold and bright Ghanaian prints, Kumasi market is an explosion of color and West African lifestyle, and also the inspiration behind the brand’s SS20 collection. A Kind of Guise has created a collection with stand-outs including polo cardigans made out of merino wool and cotton rib-stop trousers. A large chunk of Ghanian vodun vibes can also be seen on the patterned shirts and embroidered jerseys.
