Brabham Automotive Completes Production of Its $900,000 USD BT62 Competition Supercar
Pushing 700 horsepower with its 5.4-L V8.
Originally announced back in 2018, British automotive manufacturer Brabham has now completed production of its limited-run BT62, delivering the first Competition model to its buyer.
Pictured above, this particular Competition model is one of three options provided by the automaker, alongside the Ultimate Track and Road Compliant versions. By retaining just the pure necessities, the Competition variant takes the title of being the lightest out of the three, all the while keeping the same performance as the Ultimate Track edition. The track-bound car is powered by a 5.4-L naturally aspirated V8, working together with a six-speed sequential gearbox to push out a whopping 700 horsepower.
Other features include a FIA-compliant carbon-chromoly safety cell and integrated roll cage, a gauge display designed for competition use, a multi-function steering wheel, a pneumatic jacking system, motorsport ABS and traction control, as well as carbon-on-carbon brakes and center-locking wheels. The rear end is also equipped with a large wing, complementing the rest of the aerodynamic bodywork to produce an incredible 2,646 pounds of downforce together.
Limited to only 70 made, the Brabham Automotive BT62 will set you back roughly $914,000 USD. Head over to the company’s website to learn more.
