BEAUTY & YOUTH Taps Speedo for Smart Sportswear Capsule

BEAUTY & YOUTH has tapped Speedo for a concise capsule. Following a range of Forrest Gump merch from back in April, the Japanese label has opted for a slew of understated sportswear garments this time around.
Each piece in the capsule has been colored in black and navy, giving the athletic garments a smart look and feel that’s in line with BEAUTY & YOUTH’s sartorial lens. LZR Cordura fabrics have been incorporated into the garments, a material unique to Speedo that’s highly durable, soft to the touch, flexible and fast-drying. One noteworthy piece is the half-zip anorak. It boasts a breathable, semi-loose fit with slim zippers and an elastic hemline. A gradient “Speedo” logo is placed at the upper left chest, while a large kangaroo pocket provides ample storage. Other garments in the capsule, like the matching shorts, hooded short-sleeve pullover and small shoulder bag round up the concise assemblage.
The Speedo x BEAUTY & YOUTH capsule will be available on May 18 on UNITED ARROWS’ website, ranging from $46 – $251 USD.
