Piaget Releases World's Thinnest Mechanical Watch
The Altiplano Ultimate Concept comes to life.

After nearly four years in the making, Piaget has officially rolled out the world’s thinnest mechanical hand-wound watch. The brand unveiled the Altiplano Ultimate Concept years ago, and now the ultra-sleek timepiece has come to life in a bold cobalt blue edition.
Measuring in at 41mm x 2mmm, the timepiece is featured in a striking cobalt alloy case and defined by its paper-thin silhouette. Designed as a “total fusion between the case and the manufacture movement,” Piaget’s 900P-UC caliber is essentially built into the face, revealing an exposed mechanical system under the 0.2 mm sapphire crystal encasement.
The contemporary silhouette has also been upgraded with new barrel and energy regulation constructions. Other details include an integral winding crown and a textile strap with a cobalt ardillon buckle to finish it all off.
The price for Piaget’s Altiplano Ultimate Concept is available upon request. For more information on the watch and where to buy, visit Piaget’s webstore now or scroll below to watch a video for a closer look at the style.
Elsewhere in fashion, Roger Dubuis has recently released a one-of-a-kind Excalibur Diabolus In Machina timepiece.
