After teasing the return of the Air Max 95 “Neon” — which is expected to re-release later this year — Nike has now revealed yet another colorway of the iconic silhouette, this time opting for a bricolage of colors in a new “Greedy” iteration.
Remixing a variety of original colorways for Sergio Lozano’s nearly three-decade-old design, the shoe remains a follow up to 2015’s original “Greedy” colorway. The latest iteration features everything from “Aqua” to “Hot Red” color-blocking schemes. At the laces, “Volt” lace loops, “Hot Red” branding, and hits of “Aqua” can be found, with the left shoe opting for “Slate Blue” lace loops and “Hot Red” accents. Just as Nike did with the 2015 version for the silhouette’s 20th anniversary, the shoe nods to the model’s “Gunsmoke/Grey Fog” colorway at the lateral sides, with the OG’s gray mudguards switched for white. This is finished with black outsoles, and Air Max sole units that feature the aforementioned accent colors.
