Netflix Adds Some of Its Shows on YouTube for Free

More reasons to stay binge-watching while on quarantine.

Catching up on missed episodes or discovering new shows are probably high on people’s to-do list as the world continues to quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic. Luckily, entertainment streaming platforms are becoming aware of viewers consuming more programming and Netflix just upped the ante with a generous move. On the streaming giant’s official YouTube channel, you’ll find uploads of original content. Shows like Stranger Things or Tiger King aren’t on the list, rather some of Netflix’s documentaries and educational programming are available. 

The action could be a way for Netflix to attract new subscribers by way of free views. This could also be something that the platform will continue to do moving forward, possibly rotating in then rotating out free content from time to time to get more people talking about Netflix. For now, it’s a plus for avid watchers to discover new shows while still on home lock down.
