Balenciaga Goes Reptilian With Scaly Black Croc Slides
Crafted with Italian calfskin.
Balenciaga has unveiled a sleek black pair of croc slides for Spring/Summer 2020. Opting for a dressier approach this time around, the scaly slip-ons follow soft tartan flannel slippers from last month.
The slides are fully glossed in croc-embossed Italian calfskin, intricately finished with smooth piping and tonal top-stitching. It’s been crafted with a relatively broad build that accommodates both narrow and wide feet. At the top of the piece, “BALENCIAGA” branding is subtly debossed at the forefoot strap, over which lies a large velcro opening, allowing wearers to adjust the fit to their liking. As a final note, the piece comes with a cushioned outsole, offering extra comfort to the breezy summer slides.
