'Animal Crossing' Fans Reimagine Album Covers With K.K. Slider
Spurring the “‘Animal Crossing’ Art Challenge.”
As Animal Crossing: New Horizons continues to sweep the world, the hit game has now spurred a social media challenge centered around Totakeke Slider, more commonly known as K.K. Slider. The character first appeared in the debut title and quickly became popular his role as the island musician.
Inspired by the series of records by K.K. Slider and his various bands that you can purchase in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, fans are now recreating popular album covers featuring the dog musician. Some standout re-imaginations now on TikTok, Twitter and Instagram include Radiohead‘s The Bends, Nirvana‘s Nevermind, Frank Ocean‘s Blonde and Dr.Dre‘s The Chronic.
