PLEASURES & AKILA Reunite For Sunglasses Capsule Collection
Presenting Lithium and Legacy frame styles.
Coming together once again, PLEASURES and AKILA have teamed up on another sunglasses capsule collection comprised of two frames.
Leading the collaboration is the Lithium frame which serves as an homage to Kurt Cobain‘s signature Christian Roth sunglasses. Done in clean “Black” and “White” acetate options, the frames redesign the grunge-era silhouette with an updated fit marked with Oasis-inspired PLEASURES branding. The accompany Legacy frame has been reimagined by PLEASURES with upside silver-tone cross details marking the sides of classic style and PLEASURES in Olde English marking the arms.
Each pair of sunglasses is handmade in limited numbers to maintain precision and quality. All AKILA frames also utilize eco-conscious acetate, optical class 1 nylon lenses that provide 100 percent UVA/UVB protection and durable five-barrel hinges with stainless steel temple cores.
Priced at $110 and $120 USD, the limited edition Lithium and Legacy frames are available now on AKILA and PLEASURES websites.
