Future Launches Glitzy "TYCOON" Video
The new single is accompanied by a clip directed by Eif Rivera.
Future‘s busy year continues, quarantine or not. Following his joint effort with Drake and Marlo feature, the rapper has introduced the video for his latest single, “TYCOON.”
The single isn’t yet on all streaming services, so the Eif Rivera-directed music video serves as its official introduction to the world. Flashing jewelry and whirling lights lend the clip a sense of opulence that matches its all-caps title, underscored by its bouncy DY Krazy- and Wheezy-produced production.
“I’m a ty-tycoon, that’s why they hate me / ’til they throw the sheets on me I’m goin’ crazy,” Future raps in the chorus, while driving around town and dancing in an airplane hanger. “I ain’t gonna be deceased ’til I’m like eighty / I been gettin’ so damn geeked, I been prayin’.” Imagery of masked men breaking into a house accompany the verses.

Even though Future and Drake’s “Life Is Good” is over two months old — though it received a remix in February — it remains a top contender on the Billboard Hot 100.
