Shortly after converting the Mercedes-AMG G63 into a performance 4×4 pickup, Brabus has put together yet another custom take on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class model.
Dubbed the Brabus 800 Mercedes-AMG G63 “Black & Gold Edition,” the reimagined vehicle features more power and a gilded makeover. The factory 4.0-liter AMG V8 engine has been revamped with a new twin-turbo system that helps the SUV push 789 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. According to Brabus, the “Black & Gold Edition” can hit 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 150 mph.
The gilded makeover is centered around a Widestar body kit complete with strikings vents, fender flares and paired with a front spoiler, LED-lit running boards, carbon fiber hood and roof wing. Carbon fiber accents and gold badging adorn the sleek black paint job on the body raised by 23-inch gold Brabus wheels with matching brake calipers. Moving inside, the custom black leather upholstery is highlighted by gold underlays and gold finishes on metallic elements. Choice upgrades applied include electronic-assisted rear bucket seats, center console with touchpad cabin settings and a locking safe, and an info display headliner.
