Brabus Converts the Mercedes-AMG G63 Into a Performance 4x4 Pickup

Ahead of the Geneva Motor Show this year, German high-performance tuning company Brabus has unveiled its latest creation: the 800 Adventure XLP G-Wagen.

Built upon a Mercedes-AMG G63 SUV, the new off-roader boasts the perfect balance of luxury and functionality, resulting in one of the most robust four-wheel-drive pickups on the market. Adding larger turbochargers along with high-flow side-exit exhausts, the original twin-turbo V8 engine can now push out a whopping 800 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque. For improved functionality in the harsh wilderness, the German company has raised the truck’s ground clearance to 19.2 inches and extended the wheelbase by 20 inches, coupled with tough 22-inch HS wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion all-terrain tires. A custom pickup bed at the rear has been installed, holding a landing pad for a Wingcopter drone, which comes included with the car’s purchase. Finally, its interior can be fully customized for an added bit of flair and personalization thanks to Brabus’ in-house upholstery department.
