After dropping its hiking-inspired “Leave No Trace” high-tops a few days ago, Moncler is already back with one of its latest footwear styles from its expansive Spring/Summer 2020 collection. The trek-friendly Trevor Sneakers have arrived in a crisp “White/Gray” colorway that reflects the snowy French alpines the mountaineering label was originally inspired by.
Starting at the top of the shoe is a flexible slip-on collar, complemented by a raised tongue and heel, embellished with vivid branding on each side: the tongue sees “Moncler” classic logo; the heel, a tri-colored ripstop rear pull. Covering the forefoot is a set of clean round rope laces as a nod to the shoe’s hiking inspirations, while the sidewalls come in an icy semi-translucent material bolstered by a tiny hexagonal weave. Furthermore, “Moncler” is stamped at the rear quarter, followed by leather accents along the toecap. All of these details sit atop an arched midsole, equipped with an essential TPU heel piece and a toothy outsole for optimal traction.
The Moncler Trevor Sneakers “White/Gray” is currently available at Browns for $615 USD.
