Bishop Nehru & DJ Premier Link for Introspective New Single "Too Lost"
Taken from the young rapper’s forthcoming album, ‘Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts.’
Bishop Nehru has shared the accompanying music video for “Too Lost” with DJ Premier, the lead single off his forthcoming album Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts. Co-directed by DMF Films and the rapper himself, the visual sees multiple Nehrus on a train speaking to each other, detailing the kind of headspace the artist is in right now.
“As far as the video goes, I wanted to show people just a nice story of the song. Hopefully, people can figure it out but it’s me talking to two versions of myself,” Nehru told The FADER. “If you listen to the lyrics you can hear which versions, but that was the main motivation for the visual. It’s mainly about being in your head and reflecting in your thoughts.”
Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts follows Elevators: Acts I & II and will also be split into two parts, namely The Abyss and The Escape. Frequent collaborator MF DOOM is set to make a guest appearance on the 13-track record, currently scheduled to drop on May 8.
