BEAM Showcases His Rise in Visual for ChaseTheMoney-Produced "UNDA ARMOR"
A highlight off his debut album ‘95.’
Jamaican-born, Florida-raised artist BEAM has been amping up hip-hop’s underground over the past year. Working the backdrop’s for artists like 2 Chains and 21 Savage, BEAM stepped out into his own spotlight last October with the release of his debut album 95, tapping production from ChaseTheMoney and Cargo, as well as features from Morgan Saint and Childish Major. He’s now returned with a visual for album highlight “UNDA ARMOR.”
In the PDL-directed black and white visual, an object falls to earth at the feet of BEAM, transforming him from a rapper struggling to sell his mixtape to a highly-demanded artist. Much of this is in reflection to his own career, traversing the industry behind the scenes to now stepping out as a solo artist. BEAM eventually turns into a God-like figure by the video’s end, who can be seen floating in midair.
