Who says health care can’t be luxurious? Raf Simons has just delivered its latest round of “Hospital Shirts” in two vibrant options for spring, offering a much flashier take on the item than the usual variety of nondescript scrubs.
Simons’ iteration subtly references the boxy shape and pocket placements of traditional hospital shirts, while the front of the style is plastered with a vivid hand-painted motif for a bold and unique spin. On the pink colorway, the neckline is trimmed in white for contrast, while the purple edition is crafted with a tonal neckline. Both versions are made of 100% Tyvek and then stamped with a Raf Simons logo on the back as a final detail.
While the brand also released a black and purple rendition of the top last month, Raf Simons isn’t the only label with product that’s inspired by the health field as of late. In December, Nike launched an expansive assortment of its Zoom Pulse silhouette, a new sneaker designed specifically with medical professionals in mind.
