adidias Blankets ZX 8000 in "Collegiate Green"
A “B-side” colorway borrowed from the classic Superstar.
adidas releases a rich new colorway to the ZX 8000 model. Rifting off the deep shades of green associated with forests and sports turf, the “Collegiate Green” ZX 8000 incorporates the natural color throughout its paneled uppers.
Hues of green make its way onto the mesh and nubuck uppers, while gray and Cloud White appear on the Three Stripes branding and lining. The colorway was inspired by the original adidas Superstar, but flips the colorways around to have Collegiate Green dominate the shoe. The theme of green continues downwards into the deubré and Torsion-equipped rubber outsole.
