Revisiting its archives, adidas has now brought back one of the favorite silhouettes that dates back to the American Basketball Association.

Originally launched back in 1974, the Three Stripe’s Americana is resurrected in both Hi and Low cuts, sharing very similar constructions. A predominantly “Cloud White’ canvas upper is paired with leather panels of the same shade, complemented by a soft gray suede toecap for a welcomed dash of contrast. “Core Black” text running down the lateral indicates its model, with a red and black “THE AMERICANA” basketball logo sitting on the tongue and the insole. Along with a discolored sole for a retro effect, the sneakers are completed by one single colored stripe wrapping around the ankle slightly below the collar in “Glory Blue” for the Hi and “Glory Red” for the Low.

For those interested, both iterations of the adidas Americana will be available on April 1 over on the brand’s website, going for $80 USD for the Hi and $70 USD for the Low.

Elsewhere in sneakers, a “Light Smoke Grey” take on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG has surfaced.
