88GLAM Return from Brief Hiatus with New "Swim" Music Video
From the duo’s upcoming ‘CLOSE TO HEAVEN FAR FROM GOD’ project.
Toronto rap duo 88GLAM is back from a brief hiatus, releasing the new music video for their standout single “Swim” from their upcoming CLOSE TO HEAVEN FAR FROM GOD, out April 17 via XO/Republic Records.
Directed and edited by Zac Facts, “Swim” balances a number of quick-cut edits with still photography from Notoriouslenses. The track was produced by 1K and FORTHENIGHT and finds rappers 88 Camino and Derek Wise in their pocket, exchanging auto-tuned verses as they wade through the murky waters of success. “Swim” is the first major output from the group since 2018’s sophomore effort 88GLAM2 and the 88GLAM2.5 reissue which followed a year later. The latest project taps Lil Keed, DaBaby, PNB Rock, Lil Durk, NAV and more.
Camino and Wise did appear on Nav’s Bad Habits (Deluxe Edition) last year and were early additions to fellow XO label mate The Weeknd’s After Hours Tour.
