After recently sharing its Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook, Japanese Americana powerhouse visvim has returned to give HYPEBEAST an in-depth look at its forthcoming Fall/Winter 2020 collection. Showcased at its VISVIM EXPEDITION flagship in Los Angeles — the first time the brand has presented a range outside of Tokyo and Paris —the preview offers a glimpse into a variety of military-inspired outerwear, casual American silhouettes, and a bevy of footwear.
Continuing to hone in on Hiroki Nakamura’s artisanal take on heritage staples, various noteworthy pieces remain aptly seated within the imprint’s Americana-infused origins. These highlights include a brushed M65 jacket, various leather jackets and vests that have been intricately distressed, vintage-style cardigan knits, and an entourage of worn denim pieces. The preview also showcased a plentiful array of footwear — various polka-dot print Christo sandals, fresh suede takes on its classic Folk boot, and a variety of new FBT moccasin offerings can be seen. Rounding out the preview is an equally-hefty amount of accessories from traditional ball caps to Stetson-styled wide-brimmed hats, leather wallets, and more.
