Prada Unveils Hyper Leaves: A Nature-Inspired Installation

Italian fashion house Prada has brought its Hyper Leaves installation to select U.S. retail locations. The in-store concept originally debuted at Galeries Lafayette in Paris earlier this year and will now be featured exclusively inside three of the brand’s boutiques in Los Angeles, New York and Miami.
The special installation brings a transformative quality into Prada’s stores with its wild nature-inspired presence. Natural elements, such as alocasia, monstera, fig and fern, are meshed with neon lighting to create a hyper-realistic setting. The forest-like concept blurs the lines between reality and imagination through the unexpected juxtaposition of oversized greenery, backlit walls, neon lights and bright flooring.

More than just a feat of art, Hyper Leaves also features Prada’s Spring/Summer 2020 offering, showcasing men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, accessories and lifestyle pieces. The installation spotlights collection highlights, including gabardine tops, nylon outerwear, tie-dye knitwear, raffia woven baskets and sneakers.
