Marvel Drops Super Bowl Trailers For 'Black Widow,' 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier,' 'WandaVision,' and 'Loki'
A first look at many of these titles.
As expected, there’s no shortage of new movie trailers and teasers during the Super Bowl LIV this year, and fan favorites Marvel and Disney have also seized the opportunity to give their fans a better — and even first — look at four of their upcoming titles: Black Widow, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki.
With the release of Black Widow soon approaching, the fresh trailer (shown above) offers never-before-seen footage of the upcoming film based around Natasha Romanoff, an Avenger whose personal background still largely remains a mystery to fans. “You don’t know everything about me. The Avengers weren’t my first family,” says Scarlett Johansson’s character. “At some point we all have to choose, like who the world wants you to be, and who you are.” The trailer also sheds more light on Black Widow’s allies — which she calls her original family — as well as giving fans a better look at the villain Taskmaster.
Disney’s second trailer, which you can view down below, focuses on three of its upcoming Disney+ series based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Aside from showing Sam Wilson aka The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) wielding Captain America’s shield for the first time and training with the weapon whilst Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) confronts his old nemesis Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl), the short teaser also gives fans a glimpse into the strange and quirky ’70s sitcom world of WandaVision, before finishing with a scene of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki declaring in his usual trickster manner that he’s going to burn a place down to the ground. Unfortunately, there’s still no official release date yet for any of the series, so stay tuned as more updates are due to roll in.
