AAPE and Mitchell & Ness Spotlight Six Basketball Teams in NBA Collection
Including the Lakers, Raptors, Warriors & more.
Last year, BAPE and Mitchell & Ness collaborated on a range of vibrant NBA jerseys. This time around, AAPE by A Bathing Ape is teaming up with the American sportswear company for a Spring/Summer 2020 collection of NBA swingman and authentic jerseys, sweatshirts, basketball shorts, mesh T-shirts and caps.
The collection features six NBA teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors and more. Each jersey integrates the teams’ respective colors with BAPE’s signature camo print. Branded detailing, in the form of tags and embroidery, adorn the pieces, while AAPE’s “Moon Face” logo and the teams’ respective insignia finish off the looks.
Beginning February 29, the AAPE x Mitchell & Ness collection will go live on AAPE’s Japan website, on ZOZOTOWN’s online store and at in-store AAPE locations.
In other news, BAPE draws inspiration from workwear worn during the late 19th century for its new denim collection, named “Gold Rush.”
