The jacket sports a loose fit that comes with a wide hemline, the kind of cut you’d normally see TIGHTBOOTH’s founder Shinpei Ueno wearing when he’s skating on the streets of Tokyo. It’s obviously informed by Ueno’s personal style, but those who would prefer a more fitted look can at least cinch in the hem with the piece’s drawstrings. Besides this detail, the jacket also comes with raised collars, twin pockets at the chest and waist as well as adjustable velcro strips at the sleeve cuffs. Tiny “Wasted Youth” and “TIGHTBOOTH” logos are seen at the upper chest, while the back features a large print of Wasted Youth’s recurring Budweiser-inspired motif. In contrast, the hoodie comes with a simpler design. Bold co-branding is laid out at the front of the piece and the back displays a bright red illustration of a flower growing out of a crumpled soda can.
Wasted Youth and TIGHTBOOTH’s two-piece drop will be available on December 5 on VERDY’S GIFT SHOP. The hoodie will be ¥17,000 JPY; and the jacket, ¥28,000 JPY (approximately $162 USD and $268 USD, respectively).
