BAIT and Nike Japan Serve up Rare Kokiesland "A5 Wagyu AF1/1"
This steak-inspired sneaker will drop exclusively at Tokyo Comic-Con.
BAIT and Nike Japan have come together to celebrate one of the country’s finest delicacies with a limited-edition pair of Kokiesland “A5 Wagyu AF1/1” sneakers.
The Nike Air Force 1 in question appears in a crisp white leather ensemble complete with all of the typical AF1 design cues imaginable, such as its thick white midsole, branding on the tongue, and a perforated toe box. However, alongside this BAIT has crafted a pack of 1cm-thick, glow-in-the-dark A5 waygu beef steak-inspired patches that can be stuck all around the shoe.
For example, the pair can swap out its original white Swoosh for a wagyu steak Swoosh, while more changes can be made to the heel tabs and the tongue patch.
The limited-edition BAIT x Nike Japan Air Force 1 is served with a custom wood-like box that not only houses all of the patches, but also comes with a pair of chopsticks.
