Pop Smoke Is Remembered in "What You Know Bout Love" Visual
A cut from his posthumous debut album ‘Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon.’
The estate of Pop Smoke and Victor Victor Worldwide have released a music video for the late rapper’s “What You Know Bout Love.”
Directed by Oliver Cannon, the accompanying visual sees a ton of behind-the-scenes footage of the late rapper working hard in the studio, travelling, performing and celebrating his success. It opens with a video of Smoke giving thanks to his fans and talking about how much he appreciates them, and clips from his and his fans’ TikTok accounts are weaved into the music video. An important message from the artist closes out the visual: “I don’t know who needs to hear this bro, but don’t let nobody ever tell you you can’t do nothing…Whatever you wanna do, just f*cking do it. Don’t look back.”
“What You Know Bout Love” is taken from Smoke’s posthumous debut studio album Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon, which opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in July 2020 and was named one of HYPEBEAST’s Best Albums of 2020. His track “Dior” is currently running for Best Rap Performance at the 2021 GRAMMYs.
