Palace and Arc’teryx Aim to Unify Skate and Climb Culture With FW20 Collaboration
Set to release globally on December 11.
After recently linking with the likes of CÎROC and Moschino, London-based Palace now continues its late foray of 2020 collaborative releases by uniting with outdoors label Arc’teryx to mark the Canadian brand’s first ever fashion collaboration to go to market.
Through a concise outdoors-inspired collection designed to bridge skate and climb culture, the two labels celebrate the irreverent and anarchic nature that has historically existed throughout both communities. Ranging from GORE-TEX hard shell pieces and insulated jackets, to packs, beanies and T-shirts, this debut collaboration intends to allow the transition between mountain and city environments to happen seamlessly.
Paying homage to the organic comradery that connects skaters and climbers, both Palace and Arc’teryx have been growing simultaneously over the past decade, with its scenes rooted firmly in style, form and the great outdoors.
Set to launch on December 11 at 11:00am GMT, the Arc’teryx x Palace collection will be available via the Palace webstore, as well as in-store, while it drops on December 12 at 11:00am JST in-store and online across Japan. It will be available in China on December 19 at Arc’teryx stores in Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu, as well as via the Arc’teryx WeChat. The full collection is also in stock on GOAT’s online store.
