Palace Celebrates Moschino's Fashion Iconoclasm in Expansive Collaboration
Shearling jackets, a printed motorcycle helmet, leather milk carton bag and much more.
Continuing a string of heavy-hitting collaborations, Palace has now realized perhaps its most surprising partnership to date. The British brand’s latest collection is a joint effort with luxury fashion house Moschino, honoring the Italian luxury house’s legacy and unique sense of humor.
Two shearling jackets in brown and white are the collaborations crown jewels, elevated with “hug me” and handprint imagery on the rear for a suitably playful effect. Elsewhere, two puffers in “Cloud Blue” and “Orange Sunset” colors and a set of logo-printed T-shirts serve as versatile statement pieces, the latter offered in blue, orange, gray and white.
Printed sports jerseys, loud shirts, bold bucket hats and all-over print denim jackets and pants feature colorful co-branding that neatly hybridizes the design ethos of both Palace and Moschino. Rounding out the lighthearted range are lighthearted accessory pieces like football-inspired scarves, a blue cloud-patterned Bell motorcycle helmet, skateboarding hardware elevated with Palace’s duck mascot and — because it’s Moschino — a faux milk carton bag.
“I was happy to collaborate with my long-time pals at Palace to create this collection full of peace, love and hugs,” said Moschino’s creative director Jeremy Scott in a statement. “Moschino is one of our favourite brands of all time: chic, sexy, innovative and properly funny,” added Palace. “Working with them has been a full-blown dream scenario for us and we are still buzzing on it.”
The Moschino x Palace collection will be available over on both Palace and Moschino‘s webstores November 20, at 11 a.m. EST, followed by a WeChat release for Japan and China on November 21, 11 a.m. JST. You can also find them at the two brands’ various stores in Los Angeles, New York, Rome, Tokyo, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Hong Kong and Dubai.
Palace most recently honored Whitney Houston with a special charitable capsule.
