Nike Unveils Forthcoming Kyrie S2 Hybrid "Chinese New Year" Colorway
The celebratory basketball makeup is decorated with multi-colored patterns.

Now two games into the NBA regular season, Kyrie Irving simply hasn’t missed a beat when it comes to showing off stat-filling performances on the hardwood. And as he keeps his momentum trucking along throughout the year he’s going to have a cornucopia of new colorways to debut on the floor, one being this Kyrie S2 Hybrid “Chinese New Year” colorway.
Revealed via Nike by way of official imagery, the mid-cut signature silhouette comes jam packed with intricate details. The hindfoot panels are decorated with multi-colored triangular patterns and arrive embedded with Chinese dragons embroidered beneath its angelic Swooshes. The neighboring areas such as the forefoot, medial panels and venus flytrap-esque throat shroud contrast with more all-over graphics that include floral patterns, mosaics of greyscale Nike logos and more. Tongues and Carved out heel counters that make out the Nets’ point guard’s customary all-seeing eye and healer’s hand insignias are dripped in bold red, the former of which hosts Irving’s logo in black seated next to floral imagery.
Downstairs, the midsoles split between black and purple color-blocking and come rounded off with a stealthy zig-zag line and yellow/red triangle hit placed onto the treading.
No release date has been confirmed by Nike just yet, but expect them to drop sometime next month/early February closer to the beginning of the Year of the Ox festivities.
