Nike's Blazer Mid 77 Vintage Gets a Clean "Asparagus Snakeskin" Makeover
A textured take on the classic.
Nike‘s Blazer Mid 77 Vintage has been given a clean “Asparagus Snakeskin” makeover. This colorway follows a sleek gray patchwork iteration of the same silhouette seen just last week.
The upcoming colorway features smooth cream-colored uppers, complemented by green snakeskin textures and a handful of vintage-inspired design cues. A woven “Nike” tag is placed over the shoe’s semi-exposed foam, resting just above two pairs of brass eyelets and a set of tonal laces. “Nike” branding is etched on the heel counter, while a scaly green leather Swoosh is stitched onto the sidewalls. Other details like gray suede panels at the lower forefoot, a gum-colored toecap and a crisp white midsole have been added to the sneaker to give it a retro feel.
Nike’s Blazer Mid 77 Vintage “Asparagus Snakeskin” will be available on December 11, 11 p.m. EST on Nike’s website for $120 USD.
