New Balance "Gentleman's Pack" Offers Classy Takes on the 991 and 1500
Butter-soft leathers, rich suedes and made in the UK construction arrive on the duo of gentlemanly styles.

Known for high-quality materials and intricate construction, New Balance‘s made in the UK styles are highly sought after by sneakerheads who cherish a refined look — so now NB is leaning even further into that premium ethos with the new “Gentleman’s Pack.” Consisting of a 991 and a 1500 that serve as an apt follow-up to October’s “Elite Gent” pack, the “Gentleman’s Pack” offers a buttoned-up-but-not-stuffy conclusion to New Balance’s uber-successful 2020.
991s supply a leather and suede upper that switches between an earthy mud brown, a rich chocolate brown and a lighter auburn brown. Each piece is connected by white contrast stitching, with branded accents appearing on the quarter, heel and tongue. Two-tone gray and white midsoles plus black rubber outsoles complete the look.
On the other end of the spectrum, 1500s mix similar brown leather shades, but add a light gray suede on the toebox and select forefoot pieces. White contrast stitching returns as well, and branding appears on the quarter, heel tab and overlay plus the tongue. White and gray ENCAP midsoles and brown rubber outsoles finalize the style.
The New Balance 991 and 1500 “Gentleman’s Pack” will be available for pre-order on the United Arrows webstore come December 25, with an estimated delivery date of early February. Each is priced at a tax-included ¥33,000 JPY (approximately $318 USD).
