After launching his GF-01 in an iridescent-accented makeup this November, designer John Geiger is back with the new silhouette’s second colorway: a tropical “Teal/Peach.” Boasting a rich material construction and inspired by Geiger’s adopted hometown of Miami, the “Teal/Peach” supplies scintillating summer style to combat the cold winter months ahead.
Uppers are constructed of a richly-pebbled teal leather, with the primary accent arriving by way of a fuzzy peach-toned chenille material on the quarter panel’s “G” logo. This embellishment also wraps back around the collar and comes to rest on the heel tab, itself done up in peach chenille. Trim midsoles are embossed with a “GF-01” hit, and outsoles serve up a repeating “JG” traction pattern to complete the look. Accompanying the shoe’s release is a matching pair of basketball shorts, done up in peach mesh with a teal chenille JG logo on the left leg and elongated drawstrings.
The John Geiger GF-01 “Teal/Peach” and its matching basketball shorts will release on the John Geiger Co. webstore come December 12 at 12 PM EST. Shoes are priced at $195 USD and shorts at $150 USD.
