Carlex Design Unveils Land Rover Defender Wide-Body Kit
Carbon fiber galore.
There’s little question that Land Rover‘s new Defender is already a handsome car in its own right, but if you’re looking to dial your off-roading experience up all the way to 11, Carlex Design‘s latest wide-body kit might be what you need.
Dressing the entire SUV in a traditional British Racing Green with a metallic sheen finishing, the kit gives the vehicle an aggressive makeover, with pronounced carbon fiber components all across its body from the wide fender flares and front bumper to the hood, spare tire cover, and even the mirror caps. Redesigned black wheels come with white edge trim to reflect the white racing stripe running down the center of the car, while the interior gets upgraded with cognac-tinted leather sports seats for a balance of luxury and performance.
As for its specs, the Polish tuner hasn’t mentioned any details regarding mechanical modifications, so expect numbers to remain the same as the standard Land Rover model. This means either a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine pushing out 296 horsepower or a heftier 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six engine pushing out 395 horsepower.
For those interested, Carlex Design’s Land Rover Defender Racing Green Edition will start at €85,000 EUR, or roughly $103,000 USD. Head over to its website to learn more.
