Xbox Addresses Viral Smoking Series X Console Video
“…please do not blow vape smoke into your Xbox Series X.”

What started out as a video demonstrating the new Microsoft Xbox Series X‘s airflow design has now turned into a series of viral clips of smoking consoles.
The video clips show a number of Xbox Series X consoles smoking from the top of its large exhaust fan, leading consumers to believe that Microsoft didn’t quite dial in its quality control for this release. What viewers aren’t seeing is that it is actually vape smoke being blown in from the bottom.
Microsoft has since responded in a comical tweet with: “We can’t believe we have to say this, but please do not blow vape smoke into your Xbox Series X,” followed by a number of links to customer support in case of real issues. With the Sony PlayStation 5 releasing today, it will be interesting to see if users find some fun way to highlight the next-gen console’s design.
