Spalding's Limited-Edition "Kobe Marbled Snake" Basketball Is a Tribute to Mamba Mentality
The second installment of the Marble Series.

Spalding has released a limited-edition basketball called the “Kobe Marbled Snake.” Following the “Silver” iteration, this ball marks the second installment of the Marble Series, a collection of premium basketballs that pays tribute to Kobe Bryant‘s relentless determination.
Spalding notes the “Kobe Marbled Snake” is inspired by the late shooting guard’s “self-awareness, curiosity, balance and obsession,” which are “all pillars to the Mamba Mentality.” The ball comes with a striking purple and gold marble pattern over monochromatic panels that alternate between black and white, representing Kobe’s two careers played as #8 and #24. Subtle snakeskin textures cover the ball, while “Spalding” branding and Kobe’s signature finish off the ball’s design. Each piece has been uniquely patterned, so no two balls are the same.
Spalding’s limited-edition “Kobe Marbled Snake” basketball will be available on November 11, 11 p.m. EST to Spalding’s MVP members on the label’s website for $25 USD.
