Vault by Vans and LQQK Studio Reunite to Celebrate Creativity
Paying homage to the history of workwear.
Building on the momentum from its first collaboration alongside LQQK Studio in 2018, Vault by Vans has again partnered with the Brooklyn-based screen-printing and design collective for a six shoe capsule release as well as three pieces of apparel.
Featuring the Circle V theme that resonated in the pair’s previous collaboration, this Fall/Winter 2020 collection is led by the OG Style 17 Mule LX in a “Honeycomb” colorway, alongside the OG Chukka LX in burgundy — both of which give a nod to the workwear resurgence in both color and materials. The two styles also arrive in “Splatter Ink” executions, as well as a more neutral colorway.
Joining the footwear are three pieces of apparel: a quarter-zip sweater, sweatpants and long sleeve T-shirt with oversized gradient throwback Vans logo. The quarter-zip and sweatpants are available in black and “Ash Heather”, while the long sleeve T-shirt is available in black and “Bright Orange”.
Celebrating the launch of this new collection, NTS Radio is joining with both brands to showcase music communities and the diverse collectives who make up the city’s underground music scene in New York City.
Kicking off from November 17 and continuing through November 21, expect five consecutive NTS x LQQK Studio radio takeovers, each day a different collective will present a two hour show on NTS, ran in conjunction with in-store zine printing at the Vault by Vans store in NYC on Bowery.
The Vault by Vans x LQQK Studio collection will be available from November 21 from the Vans webstore.
