Golf Fans Are Going Crazy for This Year's Masters 2020 Ugly Sweater "Santa" Gnome

There were a lot of firsts for golf at this year’s 2020 Masters. On top of the many records broken by 2020 Masters winner Dustin Johnson, which includes the lowest 72-hole scoring mark (20 under) for Augusta National and being the first to reach 20 under in Masters history, this was the first time the tournament was held in November.
Not only was this year’s Master’s delayed due to COVID-19, but the tournament was also held without any guests or patrons. In addition, this resulted in the first-ever Masters online merch shop, and because the tournament took place in November, there was also an array of items themed for the Holiday season. One of those items, the garden gnome, made a return, but instead of its customary golfing attire, the gnome was dressed as Santa Clause in a nice little ugly sweater.
As the webshop was open exclusively to Masters patrons for a maximum of two checkouts, demand for this year’s Masters merch skyrocketed. One item that is currently experiencing high demand is the Santa Gnome. Originally priced at $49.50, the gnome has been seen trading at highs near the $450 USD mark with an average sale price coming in at around $230 USD.
